The rise in property prices in Spain continues, but not everywhere. See where it is the most expensive

The Canary Islands ranked fifth in terms of house price growth last month. The average price of apartments on the secondary market registered an increase of 2%, reaching the amount of ?1,960/m2, according to the latest analysis carried out by the experts of the Idealista portal. At the same time, it is 8% more than in the same period of the previous year.

The Balearic Islands still remain the most expensive region in Spain. The price of real estate here is ?3,703 per m2. The second place in this ranking belongs to Guipuzcoa - a province in the northern part of the country, where housing prices are 3428 ? / m2.

In turn, the cheapest apartments can be found in Ciudad Real, where the price is 755 ? / m2, followed by Cuenca and Jaen.

In total, 43 voivodship cities recorded an increase in real estate prices, with the highest increase in Huesca - 9.1%, followed by Ceuta (6.1%), Soria (5.1%), Murcia (4.8%) and Lleida ( 3.8%).

Tarragona (-2%), on the contrary, is the leader in inheritance. This was followed by Toledo (-1.7%), Melilla (-1.2%), Cuenca (-1.2%) and Segovia (-0.7%).

If you look at housing prices in the largest cities in February, they increased by 1.7% in Madrid and 0.2% in Barcelona. Thus, the price in the capital of Spain was at ?3,995/m2, and in the city of princes (Barcelona) at ?4,059/m2. We are not surprised that the most expensive city remains San Sebastián, where you have to pay an average of ?5,205 per square meter. Jaén, while it is at the lowest level with a price of 1086 ?/m2. Ávila (?1,112/m2) and Lerida (?1,129/m2) are also close in price.
